Merry Christmas!

Pierson's first Christmas. What joy! It gave me a whole new perspective having a baby this year. I kept thinking, I wonder what baby Jesus was like when he was 6 months old? Something to think about!
We had Jeff's family Christmas eve, our family Christmas morning, my parents Christmas early afternoon and the Garner Christmas late afternoon. Woo! We had so much fun family time. Pierson made out like a bandit with new toys!
We decided to make it a tradition for our family to read the Christmas story by the Christmas tree and thank God for His gift to us before we open presents every year.
Garner Christmas was different this year. We did low maintence. My mom is 2 weeks post knee replacment and still not 100% of course so I organized a low maintence BBQ meal for our entire family. Jeff smoked the meat and everyone enjoyed it thoroughly.
I just can't get over God's gift to us. I keep looking at Pierson and thinking how whole and amazing giving his own Son for us was. Praise God for his ultimate gift.
